Immigration process under Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) program is part of Express Entry electronic application management system. FSW selection is based on the applicant’s ability to settle in Canada and contribute to the Canadian economy. In order to qualify for FSW program, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Score 67 or above out of 100 based on the selection factors in the federal skilled worker points grid;
     
  • One year of continuous full-time (1560 hours) or equivalent part-time paid work experience within the National Occupational Classification (NOC) skill type 0 or skill levels A or B;
     
  • Language testing approved by IRCC; Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 in English, which is equivalent to IELTS score 6 in each band or NCLC level 7 in French;
     
  • Education equivalent to Canadian post-secondary; equivalency must be assessed by IRCC authorized agencies;
     
  • Settlement funds, medical exam and security check.
